Even with the lack of good consistent rains here on the Llano Estacado, the few drops to grace the land give rise to familiar friends. Their beauty is unmatched.
All I can think about is how these wildflowers carpeted this land before the plows came. Their seeds remain. They show us that no matter what they will survive in the limited spaces they have been given.
A testament to their resilience and evolution.
